A Favorite Moment | The Bride + Her Great Uncle

I had originally drafted this post for Veteran's Day last year, but the day got away from me and it was never published. I happened upon it today and wanted to share... Right after her ceremony, Christina spent a few minutes with her great uncle, Everett, a 96 year old veteran of Pearl Harbor. She talked, cried, and laughed with him. Moments like these make me love my job even more.

Back from Paradise

Aloha! Drew and I are back from an incredible vacation in Maui, feeling relaxed and happy. We can't wait to share images from our trip, as well as the lovely sessions and weddings we've been photographing. Look out for updates in the coming weeks!

Missy + Franklin | Engaged

We're so grateful to have sweet and wonderful clients like Missy + Franklin! For their engagement pictures, we met them at the National Portrait Gallery in DC and then walked around Federal Triangle. They were troopers and braved the chilly January weather without coats on. We share a lot of interests with them (like cupcakes, cameras, and Top Chef), so there was never a dull moment. We had a blast! Can't wait for their wedding this October!!
