Just wanted to post one of my favorite shots from Noel + David's wedding last month. Drew + I weren't able to have our grandparents present at our wedding, so shots like these always make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

We heart Erin + Ryan! We spent a beautiful afternoon in DC with them over the summer. Georgetown was crowded, as usual, but we were able to duck into some alleys and walkways to get some fun shots. Then we headed to the Lincoln Memorial to end the session. They were up for anything and we loved hanging out with them! They're so clearly in love, and whenever they looked at each other and hugged, it made my heart melt. They're getting married in Erin's hometown in Pennsylvania next year. We couldn't be happier for them! Erin + Ryan - Thanks for a fun time! Wishing you all the best :)

I know it's been forever since we've last posted. We have weddings and engagement sessions galore coming up on this blog, starting tomorrow! Right now, we're getting ready for Teresa + Cap's wedding at the beautiful Washington Golf and Country Club. We're excited to see them and also to work with DJ extraordinaire, Evan Reitmeyer, of MyDeejay.com again. Sarah + Jason have known each other since high school. They're such a sweet couple and so in love with each other. And they knew how to work it for the camera! We took pictures of them in Oxford, a quaint little town located on the Eastern shore. It was the perfect location for them. They're getting married this September in Easton, and we are so pumped for their wedding! Thank you to my friend, Kim, from college for referring them to us! You can view their slideshow here.

We love our dads. Coincidentally, they were both admitted to the hospital this week (for different reasons) and had surgery on the same day. It was crazy seeing both of our dads all tubed up and not knowing if they were going to be okay. Our prayers were in overdrive. Thankfully, both of them have been discharged and are on the road to recovery. It was a rough week, so if I've been slow getting back to your email or phone call, I apologize and will respond soon!
Right now, we're getting all of our gear ready for Bia + Steve's wedding in Baltimore. So excited for this one!
We're kicking off our super blog catch-up fest with the lovely wedding of Lanie + Scott. It was held at Lanie's father's house overlooking the reservoir. The weather was perfect, the details were amazing, and the reception was rockin' all night long with dancing, cake smashing, and Scott tearing up the drums for a few songs with the band. It was a fantastic celebration! A huge thank you to our awesome friend, Leigh, for coming along to second shoot. View their slideshow HERE!

I know I've been posting a lot of sneak peeks, but I just had to share this bridal party shot of Emilie + Steve's wedding this past weekend. Everything was lovely - the colors, the people, the venue... We were in photographer heaven.
