Rainy Days
Let's start this post off with a little animated gif action shall we... Here are the always adorable Andrea Ackermann and her hubby, Drew, jumping in the rain for us. These guys are so much fun.

We did a photo session with Andrea's family a couple weeks ago, and it was quite an adventure. We got soaked from the rain AND I dropped our 5D on the cement...thankfully, it survived! Her family totally reminded me of my own - they laughed a lot and were a blast to hang out with! I'll post some pictures from their session soon!
So....Tottie & Dan are getting married tomorrow! This is it!!
We are so excited for them and can't wait to document their day. Lindsay is a bridesmaid and is also going to be officiating the ceremony, plus we're going to know some of their guests...it's going to be a good time. And we're excited to have Andrea along to second shoot some of the day with us! She and I tagged along with Michelle last weekend to Erin & Taylor's wedding and helped shoot the girls getting ready and the ceremony. It was great practice for this weekend! Afterwards, we went to Five Guys and got some delish french fries doused with vinegar & old bay, and then topped off the dinner with Ben & Jerry's - it was heaven. I love hanging out with Michelle & Andrea...I think if we could, we would talk all night since we have so much in common. Pictures from that day are coming soon, too...
Our friend, Chris, sent us this crazy video below. I'm not one to take big risks...not really a fan of hiking or wilderness, and I definitely don't like heights...BUT when I watched this video of someone walking the El Camino del Rey in Spain, I got this urge to go there and walk it just for the thrill. Drew told me to go ahead and he'll stay home :)

Uhhh - I did not get any urge to go there - I got clammy hands just watching the video!
That animated picture cracks me up.
And I only watched half the video and felt nauseous. I don't like heights unless I'm strapped into something safe.
I love everythign you're doing. You are seriously going after what you want and finding your niche and your photog peeps. I'm super proud without any selfish jealousy -- I think you're doing amazing things. And your photos are beautiful. That green grass and their blue jeans made me thirsty and happy. Take from that what you will :-)
love to you!

kelly...ditto what your first comment said :-)
