The Burcham Family

We were so honored when our friend, Andrea, asked us to photograph her family last month. Since she's a fellow photographer, I was SUPER nervous about getting everything right. But I quickly forgot about that during the drive to her parents' house when it started raining really hard. So hard, we even had to pull over at one point! There was no turning back, though, because one of her sisters was moving to Texas that following weekend and this was the last chance to get some shots of the whole family. When we arrived, I instantly knew I would love them. Their house was filled with laughter and good smelling food - it reminded me of being home at my mom's house :) Since the rain was still coming down, we started out on their front porch for a few shots...then ventured out to the driveway and yard in between drizzles...and at the very end of the session, the sun decided to peek out and give us some love. It was a great ending to the day. Andrea, spending time with your family was wonderful...thank you for letting us document your life together!

The Frankel Kids
The 3 Bs! Brittany, BJ, and Bailey were so easy to work with and totally knew how to ham it up for the camera! It was a super chilly day, but it didn't seem to bother them at all. Thanks for the great time, Frankel family!! Here are a few shots from the day...

Brittany is the reigning Pre-Teen Miss Majorette of America, so we took some shots of her twirling - this girl is talented! My friend, Kristi, was Miss Majorette of America back in 1996 and is now one of Brittany's coaches.
