Our New Home
Tuesday, June 26, 2007 We've decided to stay with Squarespace, since we love it so much. It gives us a lot more flexibility and the ability to customize...we highly recommend them if you're interested in creating a blog! Our old blog will be kept active for archive purposes. Stay tuned...some of our architecture photographs were published in the Maryland & DC Construction Journal! We're very excited...it's the first time we've seen our images in a real publication :) Pics coming soon...

Ride Across Maryland
Friday, June 22, 2007
Hundreds of motorcyclists gathered in the Columbia Mall parking lot...they were preparing for their Ride Across Maryland to raise money for the fight against breast cancer. Drew and I were there in support of my friend Heather's dad, Marlon "Darrel" Vaughn, who participated in the ride...and in honor of my best friend Lindsay's mom and a few other friends' moms who have beat the odds and survived breast cancer. It was an amazing and hair-raising experience to watch all of the motorcycles drive off with pink ribbons tied to their handles... They ended up raising $300,000 - the largest gift they've ever received (nearly $1.2 million total in the 7 years this organization has been around!) Incredible :) I can't wait for next year... First up...Darrel spending some one-on-one time with his baby ;)

Darrel and Rose (Heather's parents...they're still deeply in love after so many years...it's truly amazing)

Go Darrel!

Heather, Lindsay (my BFF), and Colleen...my old skool girls from Wilde Lake...I love them! :)

The Swatland Family
Thursday, June 21, 2007
I can't even begin to describe how cute this family was...we had a blast hanging out with them! And we were so glad Brookside Gardens worked out. We had never shot there before, so we weren't sure what to expect...but it was gorgeous! Here are a few of our favorite shots:
